About Us

Our business started with a man who moved to Spain with his family, and finding the language difficult, he went door to door asking if anyone needed any help changing a lightbulb or putting up a frame. With 4 mouths to feed back home (at the time!), he never gave up and slowly, with his charisma and hard work, he managed to partner up with local entrepreneurs to start the James Chapman Property Maintenance Business. 

Looking after people's home away from home, on the sunny shores of Málaga, he not only strived to keep their houses up to par, but also made everyone feel like they were coming over to see their friend who has been watching over their home.

 Fast forward 30 years, James has now retired, and the family business has been inherited by Alexander, the youngest son of the family. Alex started learning the ins and outs of the business for a few years, learning the ropes and routes with James. He also studied an electrical course to be more knowledgeable in some of the more complicated aspects of maintenance. After which, he was finally ready to take on the family business. 

After COVID-19, many people have decided to sell their home away from homes and move away, however, we are hopeful to keep the family business running and continue to provide a warm and efficient service to our current and new clients.
